Introduction

The Universe (God) has provided natural direction for us to follow. This natural flow can be seen in all life. There are underlying patterns that can be recognized and monitored easily. Basic patterns would include day and night, birth and death, the seasons, and Moon phases. Without any predefined knowledge, any person can observe these patterns of natural change. Without having to give them a name, or an explanation, people saw these changes occur. Without a clock, people figured that summer days were longer than winter days.

How people respond to these basic patterns will affect their lives. If you prepared for winter in time, you could be ready to survive the season. If you used your will to push against the seasons, you would be caught without direction.

Imagine animals migrating the wrong way across the Earth to their demise. Animals use a method of naturally selecting when to migrate. It is a combination of circumstances, gravity, and some may say, an instinct that makes them ready for natural change. The mating season for animals is another example of the movement of survival and reproduction.

The pace of the Moon is another example of a moving pattern that doesn't need a clock or calendar. We may have decided that there is a 28-day Moon cycle and know the date of the different Moon positions, however, the Moon phases can be seen and followed by observation. Over-time, man discovered other connections we have with the Moon, such as the movement of the tides and the effect it has on a woman's menstrual cycle. The Moon will affect each person's life differently just because of location.

Some of the most powerful direction from the Earth, we take for granted.

Gravity is a flow, force, or direction that connects with all life. Gravity affects all life from every direction and completely even. Image something that treats everybody the same? The Universe gives us millions of examples of treating things equally. In many ancient civilized groups, people looked at gravity more as being pushed down. Either way, it affects all objects the same. Gravity gives perfect examples of balance and stability. If something leans one way or another against gravity, it will fall. Water will always roll downhill.

We can learn many things about ourselves by using these simple physical laws as examples. If we use our ego to push against our limits, then just like being affected by gravity, you will fall or always be in a struggle. If you use your ego to raise things just enough to balance, there will be fewer struggles.

Spiritual direction appears to carry a natural flow with it. Similar beliefs in all religions and individuals are beyond coincidence. Just as the physical world has connected, interacting flows, the world of inter development and enlightenment continues.

Because of our growth in society and community, patterns of mental and sociological behaviors can be observed. Attractions, actions, likes, and dislikes appear in all humans. Although they are unpredictable patterns, they do show a change in the person and the society.

Cauldron Pathways is about finding the natural flow and direction provided by God or the Universe in the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of life. Although happiness seems elusive, the directions pointing to happiness are moving in a flow like any other natural force.
